Laela has been so funny lately. She is loving school and coming home to tell us everything she does during the day. This last week they were learning about outer space and patterns. WOW! She is so into patterns every where we go. Funny stuff from a 3 year old! Oh. This week we took Allie to doggie school so she could get some exercise and because it was supposed to rain. WOW! I got good sleep while she was gone. No clawing at me while the thunder and lightning was going on. Woohoo. But...we did start to miss her after three days. When she got home on Friday, Laela was missing in action. This is where I found her...
She was loving on Allie. Just hanging out, talking and smiling (both Allie and Laela). Notice the sleeveless summer dress and sandals too! This girl insists on wearing SHORT sleeves, dresses, and/or sandals EVERYDAY. It does not matter if it is 25 degrees. She does not care. Well, of course that is not going to fly with me, so needless to say...we have witnessed a few crazy fits. One way we have solved the problem. She changes into a dress and/or short sleeves and/or sandles the minute we get home. More laundry for us, but WAY less harsh on the ears and nervous system!
Also from school, Laela LOVES pretending to play school or anything that she can think of that has to do with school. Here, she read us the book book before bed time. Notice her finger position (which she just taught daddy how to properly hold a book tonight) and her very serious storytelling face. This makes my heart happy. I LOVE IT! :)
Ro and Laela made this contraption the other morning before I woke up. Not sure what it is? It is a stadium, of course! There is a REAL stadium being built by us and they check it out every morning. They have been tracking the progress and Laela can not wait to go sit on the seats inside the stadium! Ro just can't wait for football, but I know they will have a blast together when it opens!
