Saturday night was Laela's first sleepover! Before we headed out, her school was having a carnival so we stopped by for a little bit. Laela got to ride a train and play a few games,
but let me say...I was very tired from standing in line for face painting. I stood for almost an hour for Laela to decide she did not want to do it when it was our turn. Laela is CRAZY, but the lady convinced her to paint a butterfly on her arm. 
Once it was done, she was so proud and thought it was very cool!
Anyway, we talked about staying with Nanna for a week and finally the day was here. Laela had it all planned out and she would be taking the following items:blanket
monkey
dog
pillow pet
sleeping bag
monkey night-night clothes
crayons
paper
trains
bag of fingernail polish
food
backpack
extra clothes
presents (blue cupcakes)
baby dolls (2)
diapers
baby carrier
Yes...all of this list came from her! She had reasons for it all and everything except the crayons, paper, and presents went with her! Only reason the presents didn't go is because we ran out of time on Saturday. Otherwise, she had everything she needed and she was very excited about staying at Nanna's house. 
We went to pick her up this morning and had a wonderful breakfast with a tired little girl. She did not decide to go to sleep until 9:00 (because she said she goes to sleep when it is dark outside...which is not true. Her bedtime is 7:00-7:30!) Oh man...Nanna got suckered! Then she woke up at 6:00 a.m. Goodness! Not enough sleep for this growing girl. Oh well. Nanna said that Laela used her manners and did very well. Ro and I even got to enjoy a nice dinner and then we did a little shopping. YEA! :) The house was very quiet and I have to admit...Ro, Allie and I all missed Laela Grace while she was at her sleepover!
