We wanted to celebrate with them on that day, but the Rangers were playing and Granna really wanted to watch the game. (She loves the Rangers!) Also, during the 2nd inning, the announcer congratulated "Joe and Virginia on their 60th year of marriage!" WOW! What a fantastic accomplishment!
So...today we met up for lunch and celebrated. 10 years ago, on their 50th anniversary, we had a big party at Texas Land and Cattle, so what would be more fitting? Lunch at Texas Land and Cattle today. YUMMY! 
We got to talk and eat and brag to the waiters about Granna and Gramps' many years of marriage. :)
Granna and Gramps are a true inspiration to Ro and I. We love how they take care of one another, they welcome everyone into their home, and they continue to have smiles on their faces, even on the craziest day. I hope to one day celebrate 60 years of marriage surrounded by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren!Granna and Gramps...we love you!
BTW - Laela did well at lunch, but he funny thing was...right when we walked in she saw this:
During the entire meal, she kept saying "Cow, come sit!" About 15 times I told her that the cow had to stay where he was, he could not sit with us! She just really wanted that cow to sit by her. :)
