Ayden's 1st birthday...

and Laela's first "amusement park" rides. This morning we joined some friends to celebrate Ayden's first brithday. They held it at Sandy Lake Park. The theme was pirates and the kids had on cute bandanas and eye patches. Great idea! They also handed out several tickets for the kids to ride the rides. :)

Well, Laela could only ride a couple because of the height requirement. Well, she did not care. She loved the few that she did ride! Every once in awhile she made a weird face, but I know that Six Flags is gonna be just around the corner! (That will have to be a daddy/daughter time, seeing as how I wanted to puke just watching Laela's horse go up and down as the carousel went round and round.)

Laela rode on an assortment of rides, including cars, boats and trains.The sweet Hodges family joined us on the train ride. :)Then back to the rides!
