A great day...

We had a few errands to run, so I thought what better day than today to try out the play area in the mall. I was a little scared at first. No...not worried too much about the germs, but mostly because all the kids in there are RUNNING around the joint and Laela is poking around on her knees. :) Either way, she handled it very well. She sat by me for a bit and then ventured out. At one point she was crawling back to me and a little boy lost his balance and fell on her. He could have cared less. He just popped up and went on. Laela gave him the evil eye and stared him down until he was out of sight. Next thing you know, there was a little girl that witnessed the incident. She came over to check on Laela. She was so cute! She got right in her face and started talking to her. Suddenly Laela burst out laughing! Then the little girl showed Laela where the boy went and seemed to continue discussing different topics with her. After "tattling" on the boy, the girl wanted Laela to play. She kept shooing Laela and pointed where she wanted Laela to go. When she was done, she looked back and saw that Laela was in the same spot. The little girl came back and told Laela to get a move on. Laela just laughed and overall, they had a great time talking! On the way through Macy's, a lady passed me smiling and said..."those toes must be good!" I smiled and looked down to find...


What a great day we had together! Laela must have been pooped because she napped for over an hour and a half. Then we met daddy for dinner. YUM!
