WOW time flies! We are loving every minute with Laela. She seems to be more active, alert, and awake during the day. Some wonder moments includer her holding her head up more and more, following objects, awareness of mommy and daddy's voice, smiling, and cooing. Also, most nights go very well. Laela falls asleep about 11:00, eats at 3:00, back to sleep until 6:00 or 7:00. Who could ask for anything better?
We went to the doctor for her 1 month check up and she is great! Laela now weighs 8 lbs 14.5 ozs and 21.2 in long. She is a little chunkier now so she is getting to wear some new clothes....SHE IS SO EXCITED for fun, new clothes (okay, okay...mom is super excited for her to wear all of the fun, new clothes)!!! The raw end of the deal was that I had t witness her first shot. Boo hoo....it was very sad, but Laela got a super cool pink camo band-aid to cover it.

Y'all should have named her Ro Jr. Seriously! :) I just love the pictures of her on the couch! She's absolutely adorable.
